International. Shure Incorporated announced with great sadness the passing of its President, Mrs. Rose L. Shure, who passed away peacefully at home on January 26.
For more than 60 years, Ms. Shure has been a source of inspiration for all Shure employees, current and former. She was an example of Shure's Core Values and Core Principles, created by her husband and founder of the company, Sidney N. Shure, that have guided the company.
The well-being of Shure and his employees was his top priority. Its motivators were business integrity, respect and equal treatment for all. It provided a work environment that inspired creativity, fostered pride in crafting the highest quality products, and encouraged all Shure employees to reach their personal potential.
Sandy LaMantia, CEO of Shure said, "We have had the privilege of working with a truly extraordinary woman. Our company and many cultural and charitable organizations have benefited from your thoughtfulness and generosity. I am convinced that the legacy that Mr. and Mrs. Shure left us will remain in our hearts and minds. This is exactly how Mr. and Mrs. Shure would have wanted it to be."
Ms. Shure's family will hold a private funeral service.
