International. One of the most knowledgeable, experienced and affable professionals in the lighting industry, Matthias Hinrichs, has joined Elation Professional as Product Manager.
"We are very excited to have Matthias join the team. His experience in the professional lighting market along with his relationships with many of the best lighting designers and clients, will be a great resource for the development of our products. He will focus on getting feedback from the market, working on the finer details of our products, making sure our products are delivered to the point and at the highest level," said Eric Loader, Elation's director of sales.
Matthias is a well-known face in the industry, working as a product manager for lighting and control systems at Martin Professional since 2003 and previously as a respected programmer and independent lighting director. Over the years, the self-described product designer and innovator has worked in stage, audio, as a DJ, lightjockey, in technical support, business development, and finally as a product manager for lighting control and automated lighting fixtures.
"I love dreaming of great products and ideas for the lighting industry and working with amazing teams to realize them from design to highly integrated manufacturing around the world," said Matthias, who started in the new position earlier this year.
