Mexico. Ikusi has been selected by Petroquímica Mexicana de Vinilo to implement a comprehensive security project, which includes Access Control System, Assistance and Integral Security for the Pajaritos, Cloro and Cogeneradora Plants located in the city of Coatzacoalcos Veracruz. In addition, Ikusi has supplied the telephony and telecommunications infrastructure.
An important project in which the collaboration of the ISS and Networks units has been the key to success since the implementation design contemplated both the telecommunications system and the physical security of the plants. That is, Ikusi's proposal combined the experience of ISS in terms of security with that of the Networks Unit in links, infrastructures and the networks themselves.
Ikusi has managed to cover needs that clients usually hire in independent projects, and consequently reduce infrastructure costs considerably. The project for Petroquímica Mexicana de Vinilo has thus become the first major contract to be achieved thanks to the collaboration of Redes and ISS.
Another novelty of this project is that it is the first in which an Attendance Control with reports for SAP is integrated into an Integral Physical Security platform.
