Give in. With a distribution portfolio that includes more than 150 products focused on the audiovisual industry, the North American company Stampede has been gaining ground in Latin America with important work in the last eight years, since when it arrived in the region.
Carmen Cadenas, the company's representative for Latin America, spoke with AVI LATINOAMÉRICA during the latest version of Cedia Expo in Dallas, in which the Stampede was present presenting the product that they seek to give it the greatest strength in the region, drones.
"While Latin American governments continue to study the regulation they will issue on drones, the technology and the market continue to advance. Segments such as corporate and government are using this technology for security, surveillance, rescues, emergency care, ease of reaching areas of difficult access, "he said.
He added that in Mexico, Colombia and Ecuador are countries with a wide market for drones, where they are acquiring equipment with flight autonomy greater than 45 minutes.
"In the drone market you have to differentiate two segments, consumer and commercial. The first is for those who want to have the equipment for entertainment, while in the second category are those who use drones to offer a solution. There are drones that fit in the palm of the hand and others that can carry up to 100 pounds of weight, the important thing is the application that the equipment will have, "said Carmen Cadenas.
As part of the development of the drone market, Stampede achieved an alliance with a drone university that allows its customers to learn the aeronautics of this equipment, how to do maintenance, develop the best applications and flight practices.
Stampede will be at TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia presenting the latest developments in drones, as well as equipment from other brands they represent such as Atlona, a company with which they will have a level 100 certification in Bogotá on October 10.
