International. It's hard to imagine how the 40th version of PLASA Show could have gone better for Elation Professional. Artiste Dali's new LED Movement Head and Proteus Hybrid Moving Head Discharge Lamp were recognized as an exceptional innovation with a PLASA Innovation Award.
Elation President Toby Velazquez and the company's sales director, Eric Loader, received the award. "This PLASA will always be special," Eric Loader said shortly after the ceremony. "We are honored to have won two PLASA awards for product innovation. We continue to listen to designers and rental homes about their needs and continue to break the glass ceiling of the perception that quality must be expensive by bringing innovative products to market with excellent price-value ratios. The Artiste Dali and Proteus Hybrid are great examples of that. Congratulations to all our Elation team who worked so hard to get these new products to market. "
The Artiste Dali and Proteus Hybrid were recognised as innovators at a ceremony held on Monday evening, 18 September at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London. "This is the first time the judges have seen a diffracted laser in an LED dot luminaire, making it a very versatile product," the jury said of Artiste Dali. "Cooling has allowed this to be the first HYBRID discharge luminaire with IP rating."
Both products attracted great interest throughout the 3-day show. The Artiste Dali, which debuted for the world, is a full-featured moving head, with a unique hybrid motor combining a 300-watt LED source and a 100-watt laser source. The multi-environmental Proteus Hybrid, also winner of the Best Product Award, is a discharge lamp with maneuver, beam and wash lights that gives designers the freedom to use this latest technology in any event, outside. Both products are available through Elation's worldwide network of partners.
The PLASA Awards for Innovation have long been respected by its independent and impartial panel of judges of industry experts.
