"For more than three decades, the TEC Awards have been among the most prestigious awards in professional audio and sound production. It is a great sign of validation that our ShowMatch DeltaQ linear array receives this nomination from our colleagues in the industry," said David Scheirman, Global Head of Rental and Concert Business at Bose Professional.
The TEC Awards recognition program was founded in 1985, to annually reward the greatest achievements of audio professionals. Presented by the TEC Foundation for Excellence in Audio, these awards recognize individuals, companies, and technical innovators behind sound in recordings, live performances, film, television, video games, and other media. Nominations for the TEC Awards are made by a panel of industry professionals and voted on by members of various professional audio organizations and websites.
ShowMatch DeltaQ speakers
ShowMatch DeltaQ linear array speakers have been designed for both portable and fixed installation applications, thanks to their variable wavepaths that help deliver the best possible sound quality to the audience-occupied area.
DeltaQ™ array technology improves sound quality and vocal clarity with selectable coverage patterns, which concentrate more sound energy to the audience by allowing directionality, or variable "Q" in each module of the arrangement. The other linear arrangements typically have much less control over the coverage pattern.
The ShowMatch™ speakers are available with vertical coverage of 5º, 10º and 20º, their superior versatility allows them to be configured in "J", with constant curvature or in DeltaQ™ arrangement. Conventional arrangements may require up to twice as many cabinets to achieve comparable vertical coverage. In addition, due to their dimensions, they can contribute to improving the appearance of the stage by being less cumbersome, reducing the weight of assembly and the logistical cost.
The ShowMatch™ modules include 70º and 100º waveguides, there are also kits available for 55º and 120º. It is possible to create arrangements of up to 24 cabinets.
