Colombia. Hall 3 of Corferias, the most important convention center in Bogotá, hosted the eighth version of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia, which was attended by 4,422 professionals who were able to know the most innovative in professional audiovisual systems.
"For us it is essential to bring to our main territories the latest trends in relation to the professional audiovisual systems industry, which is why we present in Mexico, Brazil and Colombia these fairs, the largest of their kind in this industry. With a successful participation of more than 4,000 professionals in this last region, we are pleased with the Colombian market," said Max Jaramillo, Show Director of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm.
At the height of other international events in the segment, the fair held audio demos for the first time, this time with the participation of 5 exhibiting companies that had around 20 minutes to demonstrate their professional audio equipment, as well as to explain to a specialized audience the benefits of these solutions.
"The exercise is fabulous because it is a space in which there is silence and people give us a little of their time to be able to show them in a very practical and very dynamic way, the best characteristics of the product that we are demonstrating," said Eduardo Quintero, head of marketing and technical support at Allen & Heath, an exhibiting company participating in the audio demos.
"It is very interesting to be able to see, compare and filter these products to see what is good for the market of each company, that is why it is so interesting to have a fair like this," said Darío Ruíz, Sound Engineer of Contacto E, event production company, attendee of the event.
This year, for the first time, Bogotá was the scene of the Control Rooms Summit conference, within the framework of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm, in which the design, implementation, assembly and operation of the most efficient control centers was highlighted. According to Germán Alexis Cortés, manager of the company Insetrón and one of the exponents, "this meeting has high relevance due to the full growth in which this industry is located".
In addition, he comments that although in Latin America, it is Mexico and Brazil who lead this market in terms of implementation, Colombia has a "greater technology applied" in the military forces segment than other nations in the region.
The two-day academic meeting was attended by 217 professionals from the control center sector market. The speakers came from different countries in Europe, North and South America. Likewise, attendees from different Latin American countries were present.
As for the academic day, the main academic topics were presented to illustrate technicians, managers, integrators, distributors, channels and other professionals in the sector. That said, AVIXA™ The Audiovisual and Integrated Experience Association and co-producer of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm- exhibited within the framework of TecnoMultimedia InfoComm its different classes in technical support, sales and certifications. The academic day of AVIXA had the participation of 424 attendees, between the conference program and the express classes.
Likewise, the exclusive activity for media Media Tech Tour was carried out with the participation of 27 journalists.
TecnoMultimedia InfoComm Colombia will be held from October 3 to 5, 2018 in Corferias.
