Latin America. Almo Professional A/V and Biamp Systems announced a distribution partnership that spans the Americas. The new relationship is being supported by Almo Business Development Manager and audio expert Steve Alexander. As part of the new relationship, Biamp joined the 2018 Almo E4 AV Tour, which kicks off in Washington, D.C. on March 6.
Effective immediately, the following Biamp products are available through Almo in the appropriate regions:
- U.S. And Mexico: Devio conferencing solution for small collaboration spaces or meeting rooms, including the newest generation announced at ISE and available for the second quarter of 2018.
- Latin America: Devio, Nexia digital signal processors.
The trend toward open office environments and remote workspaces has increased the need for meeting spaces and other small conference areas that require unified communication. As a result, adequate audio support must be in place to ensure that participants can hear and understand each other, reducing the possibility of poor communication.
"Many of our partners are working in meeting room facilities and need a cost-effective, easy-to-use audio solution, so it's critical that we can offer these solutions in both the U.S. and Latin America," said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Almo Professional A/V.
Jody Thomas, director of business development at Biamp Systems, said: "Through our collaboration with Almo Pro A/V, more integrators will now have access to products and solutions such as Devio, enabling them to efficiently deploy high-performance solutions in unified communications environments."
