Latin America. The Latin American Conference AES 2018 will take place from September 24 to 26 at the Conference Center of the Municipality of Montevideo in Uruguay.
This annual event attracts attendees from around the world to listen, learn and connect with colleagues and industry professionals, as well as the latest tools and technologies in audio production.
The AES 2018 Latin American Conference builds on last year's successful meeting in Havana, Cuba, and brings together engineers and industry experts who share their ideas through a variety of presentation formats, including workshops, tutorials, paper presentations, and other educational opportunities.
Scheduled events also include off-site technical visits, a number of offers for students and careers, a student recording contest, and a speech by AES President David Scheirman. Once again, the conference continues AES' mission to continue to develop strategies that support and encourage camaraderie and collaboration among industry professionals, educators, students, and audio enthusiast communities.
