Latin America. Industry veteran Paul Freudenberg has been named PK Sound's Vice President of Global Business Development. He will be responsible for leading global sales and marketing as a key part of PK's executive management team, providing valuable knowledge and experience to guide future growth, products and expansion.
Jeremy Bridge, CEO of PK Sound, cited Freudenberg's expertise in helping to grow the brand image of other audio system manufacturers around the world, as well as his deep familiarity with the latest technologies, as the main reasons for Freudenberg to join the team.
"Paul was instrumental in L-Acoustics' growth in the Americas and continued that success at Rat Sound," bridge said. "Having helped grow one of our industry's leading loudspeaker companies, it fits our company perfectly. The fact that PK has a truly differentiated new technology resembles Paul's previous success stories. In addition, he is extremely respected in the field and exemplifies the kind of professional and personal culture we have at PK."
After beginning his career in the 1980s as a technician in a recording studio in the Los Angeles area, Freudenberg went through the sales and marketing department of various manufacturers of professional audio equipment. He cultivated his expertise in recording, designing and deploying live sound, as well as integrating control network systems and digital audio.
With Freudenberg's eye for discovering companies at the forefront of live sound technology, the move to PK Sound bodes well for the company's growth ambitions. "Observing the increasing advances in the technology sector that are being promoted in our personal and professional world, I am on alert looking for people or companies that demonstrate outstanding knowledge, or cunning in the application and innovation of these emerging technologies. It seems clear that the way forward will include innovation that will facilitate the most complex tasks and make them more efficient, while at the same time providing considerable improvements to the modern."
