Mexico. As every year, Audio Engineering Society, AES, Mexico chapter, will have its annual conference within the framework of Soundcheck Xpo. There will be 9 presentations with experts who will address different topics of importance to the industry.
One of them is what they have called "The future of immersive audio", in which a global exploration of what can be expected in the next 20 years of professional audio will be made.
The conference, which will be held on Sunday, April 28 at 6:30 p.m., will be given by John La Grou, founder of Millennia Media, a world leader in the design of audio electronics for acoustic music recording and who was recently inducted into the NAMM Technology Hall of Fame. He maintains long-standing professional relationships with AES and the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.
During the three days, AES will have other presentations such as Deconstructed Sonority, a rational approach to mastering in an irrational mondo; From the imaginary to reality, the sound behind Rome; Measurement of sound pressure levels in the real world; Living the challenge of the professional recording studio; Art, recording creativity and audio engineering, among others.
