International. Sennheiser has acquired a majority stake in Dear Reality, an expert in spatial audio algorithms and VR/AR audio software, which will continue to operate as an independent company based in Dusseldorf.
Sennheiser said customers will be able to rely on existing dearVR products and look forward to joint workflows between the two companies. Uwe Cremering, head of AMBEO Immersive Audio at Sennheiser, will support the company as the third CEO alongside founders Achim Fell and Christian Sander.

With AMBEO, Sennheiser is active in all areas of immersive audio production, from initial recording to mixing and processing and finally playback," said co-CEO Dr. Andreas Sennheiser. "Audio software is an important element in this production chain, especially when it comes to VR/AR applications."
Co-CEO Daniel Sennheiser explained: "We are delighted to have gained more experts in highly skilled software and other 3D audio products with the acquisition of Dear Reality.
