Mexico. Two of the greatest figures in the history of Latin pop, Emmanuel and Mijares, once again delight audiences in Mexico, Central America and the United States, performing their popular ballads and pop songs under a large platform of Elation Professional accessories with lighting design by Héctor Valencia and Axel Rebollo.
Mexican singers have an artistic career that spans more than 35 years with millions of records sold and multiple national and international recognitions to their credit. As friends, they came together to create a show of their greatest hits of all time, "Two'r Amigos," a performance that has now been touring for nearly 6 years, breaking several attendance records along the way.
The show has evolved since 2013 with musical arrangements and changing lists, as well as stage design, video and lighting. In fact, the show has been redesigned four times and this year it returned to one of Mexico's most iconic venues, the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, with a completely new look. Having played at the Auditorio Nacional more than 50 times over the years, most of them sold out, it was no surprise that the duo captivated the audience, with more than 10,000 fans singing alongside their favorite ballads.
To give fans a unique experience for this revamped show, lighting designers Hector Valencia and Axel Rebollo specified a large number of Elation Professional lights. "We decided to include Elation accessories because of the wide range of products they offer and the service provided by the company," said Axel Rebollo. "The output, color and gobos of Elation's moving heads have become my favorite for the show."
The equipment consists of a variety of equipment including 40 Platinum FLX hybrid moving heads, 24 ACL 360 Matrix LED moving head panels, 18 Protron 3K Color strobe lights, 20 SixBar 1000 and 12 DTW Bar 1000 LED slats, and 8 DTW Blinder 700 IP. The striking design was completed with a backdrop of 792 AV2 (198 m²) LED video panels from sister company Elation ADJ.
Technical production and equipment for the show were provided by Producciones Premium LT, a renowned Mexican provider of lighting, audio, video and backline for large-scale shows, as well as AlmaShow Producciones, specialists in artistic representation and event production. Premium LT Productions also used two Arkaos Stage Server media servers in the program.
The "Two'r Amigos" tour has several more dates scheduled in Mexico the rest of the year.
