Christie expands line of panels with 55" and 98" displays

Latin America. With ultra-narrow bezel of 0.44mm/combined 0.88mm, compliance with TAA and 4K standards at 60Hz, the two new 55-inch flat panels of the Christie Extreme Series are especially suitable in military and government installations, utilities and other control rooms dedicated to the performance of critical missions, as well as in visualization laboratories that require the latest in intelligent electronic design, advanced performance and video wall optimization.

The FHD554-XZ-H, christie's Extreme Series flagship, and its high-resolution twin, feature HDMI 2.0 connectivity, HDCP 2.2 and an OPS slot that supports a variety of processing modules, including the Christie Phoenix EP processor, forming a complete suite of solutions.

"The new FHD554-XZ-H/HR models integrate Christie's latest generation of mosaic-foldable LCD technology and represent the next step in combined bezel, the most advanced to date, and a platform that further enhances the performance of our mosaic LCD solutions," said John Dixon, Senior Product Manager at Christie.

The FHD554-XZ-HR is a Remote Power Model from Christie that improves reliability while offering mission-critical uptime and redundancy capabilities. For those customers who want an ultra-thin profile for their video wall, the combination of the FHD554-XZ-H/HR with Christie's ML25 mount results in a total thickness of less than four inches (10.16 cm.) required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Flat panel SUHD983-P
Belonging to Christie's Secure Series, the new 98-inch flat panel is installable in portrait and landscape mode and is equipped with advanced input connectivity with support of up to 8K. The new model has the ability to simultaneously display four content windows, making it ideal for collaborative work and visualization labs, where high-quality visuals and multiple vision are crucial. It is also perfect in environments that require secure video streaming.

The Christie SUHD983-P also comes standard with multi-source scaling and viewing, eliminating the need for an external processor in the most common uses.

The two 55-inch mosaic panels and the 98-inch SUHD983-P will be on the market in January 2020,
