Brazil. After careful consideration through the advice of different public health officials, such as those from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the government of Brazil, the organizers of InfoComm Brazil 2020 have decided to postpone the fair originally scheduled from April 14 to 16, 2020.
With the number of cases and countries worldwide affected by COVID-19 increasing, WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic on 11 March 2020. In response, Brazil's government has advised the cancellation and postponement of major events, as well as a seven-day quarantine for all travelers entering this country from abroad.
"While we understand that this can cause inconvenience, we have put the health and safety of our exhibitors and attendees as the biggest concern," said Max Jaramillo, Managing Director of InfoComm Latin America.
InfoComm Brasil 2020 has been rescheduled to take place from October 20 to 22, 2020 (Tuesday to Thursday) at the Transamerica Expo venue, in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
