Latin America. VuWall announced support for software-controlled IP workflows by integrating the NDI protocol into the VuStream 150 encoder/decoder device.
VuStream 150 now supports NDI-enabled applications and devices that use standard Ethernet local area networks. VuWall's NDI implementation places them among the industry's largest IP product ecosystem as they join the rapidly expanding number of enterprises enabling interoperability within IP-based client workflows.
NDI is a royalty-free technology that allows you to share data, audio and video sources bidirectionally over a network. NDI eliminates the need for expensive direct connections, expensive cable runs, and infrastructure upgrades, while making any source available to any destination on the network.
"The integration of NDI technology into our product ecosystem is a natural move for VuWall as it aligns perfectly with our philosophy of bringing interoperability and simplicity to AV over IP workflows," said Mark Schmidt, CTO of VuWall. "NewTek NDI's integrated support | HX on our VuStream 150 provides tremendous value to our customers in high-demand mission-critical environments, where high-performance, low-latency video is critical."
The VuStream 150 appliance is the first in the VuWall product ecosystem to offer support for the NDI protocol | High performance HX. This device can be used as an encoder or decoder and can transmit HDMI 2.0 signals with a resolution of up to 3840x2160 at 60Hz over standard networks.
In addition to its NDI support, VuStream 150 also supports H.264 and H.265 transmissions. Thanks to its NDI | implementation HX, this device offers low bandwidth consumption, providing customers with a cost-effective and high-quality video over IP solution. VuStream 150's interoperability with other NDI-enabled devices and applications provides seamless integrations, simplifying workflows for video wall applications.
