ScreenBeam released beta version of Screenbeam Conference

screenbeamLatin America. ScreenBeam introduced the beta version of ScreenBeam Conference to add support for leading video conferencing services to ScreenBeam's pointless wireless presentation platform.

With ScreenBeam Conference, users can host a hybrid meeting using their personal laptop and the conferencing solution of their choice by taking full advantage of the AV equipment in the meeting room. ScreenBeam Conference is now available free of charge with each ScreenBeam 1100 Plus wireless display receiver and with no additional hardware or licensing charges.

BYOM to drive an intelligent hybrid work environment
According to the 2021 PwC Remote Work in the U.S. survey, U.S. executives are planning new investments to support hybrid work. The report cites that 72% of executives surveyed plan to invest more in virtual collaboration tools and 57% report an expanded budget for conference rooms with enhanced virtual connectivity. This aligns with the 87% of employees who say returning to the office is a priority need for team collaboration and building relationships.

While traditional UC conferencing solutions are highly effective for remote meeting participants, new challenges arise within a hybrid model that combines remote and face-to-face participants. A solution should enable an engaging experience for both groups, support the personal choice of the host of the video conferencing tool, and easily work in any environment, from a traditional UC room to a space that is not equipped with UC devices and only has one screen in the room, all while complying with company security protocols.

Meeting control and personalization
ScreenBeam Conference is a software-delivered solution now available with every ScreenBeam 1100 Plus wireless presentation receiver. It allows content on the room screen to be shared with remote participants in a meeting to provide a better collaborative experience between in-person and remote participants.

The host's device automatically connects wirelessly to cameras, microphones, and soundbars in the room, providing flexibility beyond that of traditional unified communications (UC) systems in the room without the technical limitations. With ScreenBeam Conference, the host takes full control of how they want to run their meeting.

Users can replace the room meeting system and use the video conferencing tool of their choice, as well as start and conduct the UC meeting/conference from their personal device. By creating agnostic support for video conferencing solutions over the ScreenBeam pointless wireless presentation receiver, users never touch shared buttons, cables, or tablets to ensure a more secure user experience.

The implementation of ScreenBeam is easy and flexible, with HDMI output for wireless connections to room displays, multiple USB ports for connecting room peripherals, and an HDMI input with automatic switching, the possibilities become endless. Alternatively, ScreenBeam 1100 Plus can easily connect to a traditional unified communications (UC) system in the room to provide a point-of-contact wireless presentation experience on any Windows, Apple, or Chrome device.

Main Advantages of Screenbeam Conference
There are many advantages and benefits when you deploy ScreenBeam 1100 Plus with ScreenBeam Conference in your company's meeting spaces, including:

1. Avoid problems when the room is restricted to a single conference tool
2. Allows automatic connection wirelessly to the audiovisual equipment (AV) of the room
3. Allow remote participants to view shared content on the room screen
4. Eliminate contact with shared buttons and cables via wireless presentation without apps
5. Reduce cost by eliminating the license and dedicated hardware charge
