Mexico. Multimedia, a Mexican company with more than 30 years of experience in the audiovisual (AV) industry, has achieved the APEx (AV Provider of Excellence) designation from AVIXA, which places it in a select group of AV providers worldwide.
This rating is obtained by AV design consulting and integrator companies that meet a number of five key markers of excellence. AVIXA's APEx program recognizes companies dedicated to maintaining that optimal level as a provider that provides an extraordinary quality service to its customers.
The APEx program rates companies based on the number of employees who have key certifications in the industry, including AVIXA's CTS credential, completion of continuing education classes, and positive responses to customer surveys.
Founded in 1988, Multimedia collaborates with important companies in the corporate and commercial sector, integrating AV systems, lighting control, videoconferencing solutions, digital signage, security, entertainment, communication and unified collaboration and, recently, technology-based healthcare solutions from its new Multimedia Care division. In addition, he has developed hundreds of projects for the residential market, both in Mexico and in the United States.
"Multimedia has always been clear that having the customer as the center of everything, requires a strong internal organization reinforced by processes and work methodologies, achieving APEx recognition helps us confirm the strength of our organization and the quality of its processes, in addition to ensuring that we achieve customer satisfaction," says Federico Bausone, CEO of Multimedia.
"This certification allows us to confirm that our team has acquired the necessary knowledge to perform a task with a level of excellence associated with proven skills and knowledge," says Sergio Gaitán, director of the Multimedia Learning division.
APEx providers must also demonstrate that they meet or exceed the requirements within the ANSI/INFOCOMM standards, the Standard Guide for Audiovisual System Design and Coordination Processes, and the AV System Performance Verification Standard, to encourage better communication between the AV provider and the customer.
"Seven years ago, Multimedia started the ambitious project of being the best trained company in the industry in Mexico, this training is intensive in technical aspects, but also covers aspects of human and commercial development," adds Gaitán. "The combination of these disciplines develops people trained according to their work style, if we add the spirit of each of our collaborators, the result is a team with great talent, a lot of initiative and that knows that for them there is a permanent opportunity for development."
Gaitán emphasizes that having the APEX recognition strengthens the commitment to give continuity to the permanent training program, the updating of work processes and methodologies, in addition to the mechanisms for quality control.
"AVIXA's APEx certification places us as leaders in Mexico in terms of technology integration companies. We are the first in Latin America to obtain this banner and that places us among the best companies in the world," Bausone concluded.
Like Multimedia, all companies and members of the AV industry have the opportunity to access the different certification options that AVIXA offers. Those interested can explore the Certification section on the AVIXA website or contact the AVIXA Latin America team to discuss their development plans.
