Give in. Between September 1 and 3, the 2021 version of Cedia Expo will be held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, a fair that returns to face-to-face despite the pandemic and will also have a virtual component.
As always, the event will feature networking, CEDIA training, brand exposure and product launches. There will be 250 exhibitors who this year will be at the fair showing their new technology for the home.
According to its organizers, "change is happening rapidly in the residential technology space. Breakthrough innovations, driven in part by a growing IoT market, are becoming faster, smarter, and more intuitive with each iteration. Competing at the forefront requires you to understand today's technology." That's why this fair is the opportunity to learn what will come from committed opinion leaders in a rapidly changing environment.
As a novelty, this year there will be several companies that will be showing for the first time their residential technologies in Cedia, which are part of the Launchpad program. These include:
Allterco Robotics
AutoSlide
Blonder Tongue Labs
Dejero
GDC Technology (USA), LLC
Guard Dog Solutions Inc.
Hide-A-Trim
Juke Audio
KEW Labs
Orro
And for people who can't travel and meet in person with exhibitors and industry professionals, the fair has a platform in place that facilitates virtual meetings.
