Latin America. Yamaha and 1 Beyond partner to offer a communication solution that promises to improve the audio and video experience of meetings, by integrating the ADECIA ceiling microphone with the automate VX voice-activated multi-camera, solutions from each company respectively.
This sum of capabilities seeks to provide accuracy for video conferencing, recording and transmission of audio and video. It is important to note that the integration uses web-based room design software, which requires no programming and is now available for corporate, university, and government meeting spaces.
The benefit, at the design level, is that the Automate VX solution supports up to 12 cameras and multiple ADECIA ceiling units. This means that it can be customized according to the need of the space.
Phil Marechal, Vice President of Business Development and Product Management at Yamaha Unified Communications said, "1 Beyond is a leader in the world of smart camera and automatic camera switching. Similarly, Yamaha's ADECIA leverages our dynamic beam tracking technology to capture and transmit conversations clearly to the other end. This combination of best-in-class voice tracking and audio processing ensures that conference participants have the clearest communication possible."
Rony Sebok, CTO of 1 Beyond, said: "Automate VX can take advantage of the unique features of the ADECIA microphone to improve camera tracking, such as its human voice activity detection technology that differentiates voice from noise. This, coupled with the microphone's reliable audio position information, allows cameras to be accurately pointed at those speaking in the room, whether they are sitting or standing, and to ignore strange noises."
