Nsign.tv appoints Albert Baranera as new CEO

Albert Baranera Nsign.tv

Latin America. The digital signage technology start-up Nsign.tv has announced the appointment of Albert Baranera as the new CEO, reporting to Toni Viñals, CEO of the company. From his new position, he will be responsible for leading the sales channel and marketing strategy of the Barcelona-based technology company.

Baranera holds a degree in Law from Pompeu Fabra University and has completed the General Management Program of IESE Business School at the University of Navarra and the PMD Management Development Program at Esade.

With more than 20 years of experience, he joins his new position after having held positions of maximum responsibility in Spain and the United States in different international providers of identification solutions, such as Plasco ID, Matica Technologies, BlueStar, Datopack ID and Impuls ID Distribution.

Regarding his appointment, Albert Baranera points out: "I join Nsign.tv at an exciting time in which the growth of the market for the digitalization of physical spaces is combined, where brands and companies seek greater connection and interactivity with their audiences (consumers, visitors, employees, customers). And, on the other hand, with our digital signage platform at an ideal time per product, team and the necessary solidity to be able to grow nationally and internationally".

"And all this with the support that gives us to have been winners a few weeks ago of the award for Digital Signage Technology of the Year at the AV Awards, the Oscars of the AV industry. Without forgetting another milestone such as the recent agreement with the Japanese multinational iiyama by which our software comes pre-installed as standard on their professional screens".

About his role in the company, Baranera explains: "As CEO of Nsign.tv I will be focused on organizing the company's resources to ensure the growth and constant investment in innovation of our solution. And, on the other hand, in generating the necessary sales channels to be able to get our technology to potential end users, offering a product that generates a positive impact on their operations thanks to its interoperability with multiple sources of information, its scalability in the implementation (being able to evolve from publishing content to customizing them depending on the audience), obtaining all kinds of metrics to evaluate its impact and, above all, offering the platform with the best user experience in the market".

Toni Viñals, CEO of Nsign.tv, commented: "We are delighted with Albert's addition to our company. His entire professional career has been linked to three fundamental elements such as technology, internationality and the creation of channels, so he can provide the necessary experience to organize the different departments of the company and focus them on not only having the best digital signage platform, but also to be an attractive company for the different technological partners necessary to guarantee the best solution for the end customer".

Among Albert Baranera's short-term challenges is the participation of Nsign.tv in ISE 2022, the world's largest AV fair, which will take place in Barcelona from May 10 to 13. "We are very excited to exhibit again at ISE, where visitors will be able to see the technological evolution of our platform and how digital signage is much more than showing audiovisual content, having evolved to allow full interaction with audiences with examples such as touch screens, interaction with IOT devices and artificial intelligence (AI) analytics functions", concluded the director.
