Positive participation of Chauvet in TecnoMultimediaInfoComm

Mexico. Chauvet Professional captivated the eyes of visitors to the Tecnomultimedia InfoComm 2016 exhibition, which was recently held at the WTC facilities in Mexico City. The stand built entirely with aluminium structures from TRUSST, another of Chauvet's sister brands, offered the perfect setting to present the new equipment destined to occupy the inventories and 'riders' of rental companies and artists around the world.

The exceptional creativity of the renowned lighting designers Jonathan 'Goofy' Galicia and Jesús 'Chucho' Guevara, contributed to add the magical touch that made the luminaires look to the maximum to show their innovative functions and great power.

For the Chauvet Professional team it was very gratifying to observe the interest in the new range of products, among which were the F4 video panels, designed for permanent installations or tours. Each 100 x 50 cm panel is built on an ultralight magnesium chassis, and has a pixel (pitch) separation of only 4.8 mm. Designed to be controlled by the Novastar protocol, it has LED magnetic module technology that facilitates front or rear access to provide maintenance and service without the need to disassemble it, in addition to allowing installation on any surface.

Also grabbing the attention was the Maverick series, with three teams of great power and exceptional performance. The Maverick MK1 Hybrid features advanced optics, overlapping 8- and 4-facet prisms, a selection of goos that add versatility, 3° to 18° zoom range, and a powerful CMY color mixing system. Equipped with a powerful 440-watt Osram Sirius lamp, it offers DMX, sACN, Art-Net, or WDMX control options for maximum flexibility in any lighting design.

Maverick Mk2 Spot arrives to impose new standards for LED Spot type moving heads. Equipped with an industry-leading 440 watt LED, it features a CMY + CTO color mixing system, two wheels each with 6 interchangeable rotary gobos "slot and lock", 7-color wheel + white, variable "frost" diffuser filter, and a 3-facet prism. All this is projected through a zoom system from 13° to 37°. Control options on the Maverick MK2 Spot also include DMX, Art-Net, sACN, or WDMX.

Maverick MK2 Wash completes the third of aces, with a magnificent light production with 12 LEDs of 40 watts Osram RGBW. Additionally, it offers the possibility of customizing the optics of the equipment, pixel mapping, virtual gobo wheel with background colors, preloaded color mixes, and adjustable zoom from 7° to 49°. The control is total through the DMX, sACN, Art-Net, KlingNet or WDMX protocols.

The Rogue family grows with the new Rogue R1 FX-B. The fun is multiplied with 5 individual control heads mounted on a bar that provide infinite pan and tilt movements, emitting powerful and sharp rays of light with 15 watt RGBW LEDs with the added ability to project pixel mappings and create stunning aerial effects. Control options include DMX, Art-Net, sACN, or KlingNet.

The STRIKE 1 struck with its compact design and great power with its warm white LED of 230 watts, to use it as a blinder, wash and strobe. It has an IP65 weather resistance that makes it ideal for tours and other outdoor applications, and a fan also resistant to weathering that controls the temperature of the equipment when used as a wash. The automatic color emulation generates reddish tones similar to those produced by incandescent filaments when reducing brightness.

The Ovation series integrates the new Ovation E-260WW, equipped with a 202-watt LED for power higher than that of a 750-watt tungsten lamp. Its attenuation is extremely gradual at the end of the curve, and it produces a flat and homogeneous light field to project gobos with a high quality. It provides easy access to configure functions such as PWM frequency, and includes RMD support for full control.

The new Ovation B-2805FC and B-565FC bars incorporate RGBA+Lemon LED technology, and are designed to create generous light baths at any color temperature. They incorporate RDM, Art-Net, sACN and DMX technology for programming and networking. The virtual color wheel reproduces the most popular shades of Rosco filters, making it ideal for theaters and television forums.

COLORado 3 Only expands the industry-standard COLORado line with a design for use in any environment. The three 60-watt RGBW LEDs project an intense and homogeneous beam of light through an optic that has a zoom that makes it the brightest PAR type equipment in this series. It incorporates new power connectors and IP data and convection cooling for use in virtually any environment, from the silent stage of a theater, or a massive outdoor summer festival.
