"Epson brings the highest technology to the development of Latam"

Mexico. Epson reaffirms its commitment to the growth of regional markets through the development of cutting-edge technology and shares its vision for Latin America. For more than a hundred years, the company has developed the most important technological advances in equipment and parts for all types of industries, from those that need a simple computer system, to the most sophisticated components for the different sectors that make up a society.

"We are committed to practicing a safe, legal and sustainable business, and, more importantly, extending it to our suppliers around the world. With our actions, we hope to contribute to the construction of a satisfied, healthy and diverse society that our customers, employees and investors can be proud to be part of," said Carlos Giraldo, Director of New Business Development at Epson Mexico.

One of the great pillars of Epson focuses on always staying one step ahead in the process of modernization and technological development in the areas of quality control, equipment supervision, maintenance assurance and customer service. These actions are reflected in the attention of the points of sale or through the distributors, in order to also cover the after-sales services of each of the products.

On the other hand, the field of printing is one of the areas that has given more renown to Epson technology locally, since it produces printers of optimal quality for all types of work, some with application to the graphic company, given its high definition and scanners capable of reproducing images of surprising sharpness.

Epson has been responsible for covering each of the business lines with innovation and the latest technology. Today, a printer with a continuous recharging system optimizes the use of time, both for children and young people and executives, who have to print a task or a job late at night, or need to print large quantities without interruptions, saving up to 90% in ink with replacement bottles at low cost, which guarantees significant savings in the long term.

In addition, its innovative laser lighting source technology, which covers a complete portfolio in video projection, has become the best tool for the education, corporate or general markets, places that require great lighting.

However, consumer products are only one part of the large Epson ecosystem.

Epson and its commitment to society
For Epson, contributing to the growth and development of a society is a fundamental part of its philosophy. In that sense, education is one of the sectors in which it is committed, since it is aware that innovation must enable students to learn with innovative tools that allow them to train academically, understanding the flexibility and constant transformation that this requires.

Technology has changed the experience of learning and teaching, both in the classroom and at home. Information and innovation are integrated daily into the experience of children and young people, thanks to the use of different and increasingly portable tools.

"At Epson we know the education sector and use this knowledge to design a technology that allows continuous and efficient learning. Our solutions keep information in constant motion, connecting collaborative groups, promoting concentration and helping teachers and students," says Giraldo.

In this vein, Epson is convinced that technology helps create a more inclusive and effective learning environment, as collaborative learning encourages students to interact to solve problems and share knowledge. This not only enhances collaboration capabilities, but leads to continuous learning and a deeper understanding of each and every learner.

Connectivity is another of the key points that the company takes into account in its solutions. The use of electronic devices as learning vehicles has become an increasingly used option by teachers to combat the inattention of students in class. A clear example of this is the massification of interactive projectors, which are a tool that today replaces the blackboard in many institutions.

On the other hand, studies have shown that size is important when making a slide show, viewing graphs or reviewing a document through the video projection. That's where quality vs. capacity comes in. Carlos Giraldo explained "At Epson we are working more and more to expand the spectrum of models and solutions with state-of-the-art technology, already finding projectors with multiple characteristics that meet the needs of our users and prioritizing the quality of our equipment".

From another perspective, the rise of information digitization has turned multifunction printers into great allies for student assignments today. And although the tendency is towards using less paper, each person is different, and there are those that the fact of reading a text in physical, having the possibility of highlighting or writing on the same paper favors their retention, according to different studies.
