Designed to meet the highest standards of information technology, the room kits bring together, in a compact and ceiling installation system, state-of-the-art audio conferencing solutions from Xilica and Sennheiser, managed through PoE and with all its components connected by CatX network cable. The sum of these elements translates into a much more agile deployment, which allows customers in the education and business sectors to modernize their learning and meeting spaces without the need for copper wiring or third-party audio connections.
The Xilica x Sennheiser Room Kits are specifically designed to respond to the challenges faced by medium and large collaboration spaces today. The two packages include a PoE-managed Xilica DSP and a beamforming microphone array (TeamConnect Ceiling 2) to reduce noise and eliminate echoes in complex acoustic environments. The kits also incorporate the innovative systems of speakers embedded in the ceiling, connected by Xilica's CatX, which optimize the audio of the room and clear the space.
The medium Room Kit includes Xilica Solaro QR1-UC DSP, Sennheiser TeamConnect Ceiling 2 microphone, a Xilica Sonia Amp with PoE+ capability, and two Sonia C5 ceiling installation speakers. Those same technological elements are also present in the large Room Kit, but in this case with four Sonia C5 ceiling speakers and XTouch 80 touch screen from Xilica to simplify control inside the room.
The Xilica x Sennheiser Room Kits stand out from other traditional audio conferencing solutions. And they do so for several reasons: their centralized operation around the CatX cable and the network infrastructure of the space itself; It is also one of the simplest options to install, as it does not depend on the electrical installation and the speakers are distributed recessed through the ceiling, thus responding to the demands of collaboration audio in large spaces, without the need for third-party wiring. It is a pre-validated solution that, in addition to offering installers a practical and quick to assemble system, reduces the costs of setting up a self-conferencing solution based on individual components.
Taking advantage of the state-of-the-art algorithmic processing that characterizes both vendors, Xilica HearClear echo acoustic cancellation and TruVoicelift join forces to improve voice intelligibility, reduce audio distortions, and eliminate acoustic and room distractions that impede clear communication. The Xilica Solaro QR1-UC DSPs come with a USB 2×2 audio interface that allows you to synchronize volume and mute status with Microsoft Teams and Zoom, increasing their value for hybrid applications and allowing employees or students who intervene remotely to reduce or mute the volume from their keyboards.
Both the medium Room Kit and the large Room Kit adapt to a wide variety of spaces, such as auditoriums, boardrooms, conference rooms, assembly halls and other training spaces, including the typical classroom. With solaro QR1's advanced DSP functionality, large enterprises and universities now also have the advantage of being able to configure their own kits before deploying them.
