Clients are eager to resume their projects

Claudius Bezerra, sony

Latin America. Moved by local content productions, government, education, houses of worship (Iglesias) and IP streaming services, the audiovisual industry market in Latin America has been recovering at the beginning of 2022.

Claudius Bezerra, Product Marketing Manager at Sony, told AVI Latin America that "The professional AV market in Latin America is recovering with customers eager to resume their projects and develop their business in the post-pandemic scenario. We can see that system integrators and end users are looking to implement solutions that are suited to remote work and the increased demand for IP streaming services."

In that sense, projects such as eSports are a growing segment in the Latin Region. "At the end of 2021, our HDC-3100 system cameras and BRC-X1000 PTZ cameras were used in the RIOT Games LLA finals solution in Mexico. This was a very successful collaborative project that showcased the power of esports in a growing region with great potential."

Sony will present at InfoComm Show the latest addition to its line of PTZ cameras: the SRG-X40UH 4K PTZ camera. In addition, the complete line of BRAVIA Pro monitors, in which users will have the opportunity to see the different applications in which these 4K HDR monitors are used. Finally, they will have professional AV solutions for the corporate, educational, health and government segments.

"We expect Latin America to continue the market recovery trend, and more importantly, we will continue to work closely with our customers to meet their needs and product availability," concluded Claudius Bezerra.
