Mexico. In the framework of the XV Latin American Meeting of Socially Responsible Companies held by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy, A.C. (Cemefi) and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE), Epson Mexico received, for the second consecutive year, the ESR 2022 Distinctive, for the efforts to improve and innovate its processes and technologies so that they are economically sustainable, the social and the environmental.
As well as for the different initiatives in which the company participates, which seek to promote through its equipment, savings, recycling and waste reduction, in sectors such as industrial, fashion, photography, and education, to name a few.
The meeting sought to recognize companies that have satisfactorily met the standards required to obtain the ESR 2022 Distinctive, as well as to promote dialogue on Corporate Social Responsibility and innovation.
In this edition, carried out in virtual format, more than 900 companies reached CSR standards, which promoted social responsibility, positively impacted the development and sustainability of our country, in addition to improving and strengthening the work environment, increasing value, promoting economies of scale and increasing the profitability of their companies.
Under the thematic axis of this edition: "The future of CSR, innovation and transformation", Epson reaffirms its commitment to achieve sustainability and enrich communities, through technologies that adapt to the rapid and changing needs of each of the environments in which it has a presence, and reinforcing its Environmental Vision 2050, with which it promises to achieve sustainability in a circular economy and expand the frontiers of the industry through creative and open innovation.
Thus, Epson Mexico continues to work on development activities with the community, linkage plans with related institutions, Diversity and Inclusion programs, as well as the inclusion of CSR practices by suppliers.
