Mexico. As part of the celebrations of the company's 80th anniversary, Epson presented in Mexico its new line of EpiqVision projectors, three models that stand out for their portability, image and audio quality and availability in the market.

Juan Campos, senior product manager for Latin America at Epson told AVI Latin America that the main reason for launching these products is to maintain innovation in the company.

"What Epson continues to look for is to continue innovating in the market, creating new products, continuing to launch and reaching new segments. We launched three products with a similar concept: portability, excellent audio and image over 100 inches. Our initial product is the FH-02 focused on Generation Z, we are looking for a very portable product, completely smart. Our next product, the EF12, which is our main sales product comes potentiated with Yamaha audio, allows us to take it anywhere, it is compact, it is Android, I can connect it to the internet; and also our main product, the LS300, projector that placing it at a very short distance offers us an image of 120 inches, also comes strengthened with the Yamaha sound and with Android system".

He mentioned that they focused the development of the products on the specific needs of various age groups. "From young people looking to take the product back and forth, to older people who have great picture and sound experiences, entertainment and fun. Portability is one of the main differentiators. If we see the Epson EpiqVision LS300 yes it is to put it in the living room, but it is super compact and I could put it in a bedroom it is possible we only need a white wall and ready, we have a screen of 100 or 120 inches ".

Campos further mentioned that the image and audio quality are unique: "Another advantage is the quality and size of the image. All the equipment runs 4K, you can put any signal - video games, regular signal, internet - and supports any image quality. "

This new line of projectors, he said, has had excellent reception in other regions. "In other countries we have done very well. These products were launched in 2021 in Japan, Europe and the United States and the acceptance has been very good. Epson is a market leader in projector development, by far we have a 40% market share, the technology is proven to be the best. 15 days ago the launch was made in Brazil, Mexico was the second part. In 2022 we will focus on these two major markets and in 2023 we have plans to expand into other regions of Latin America. For an 80th anniversary what better than to launch these products."

Paulina Rivera, EpsonDuring the presentation, Paulina Rivera, Senior Product Manager at Epson Mexico, said: "Home entertainment has never been more important and the transmission of movies, television, video games and sports continues to grow more and more. With Epson EpiqVision, we're incorporating streaming directly into our entertainment devices. And with the EF12 and LS300 models, users can directly stream content, with bright and beautiful images, to enjoy their favorite shows, movies and sports like never before. There used to be television, now there's Epson EpiqVision."
