Colombia. With the hard test that humanity has just gone through, communication by videoconferences became part of everyday life, and both contact with the family, the study of children and young people, and corporate work depended at the same time on the effectiveness of this technology that was forced to refine and continue to evolve.
Today, concepts such as immersive virtual collaboration, panoramic 4K video, multiple whiteboards, video bars and plug and play technology, are already beginning to be adopted by specialized companies that work to improve the experience and achieve more fluid and more interactive communications, but above all very realistic.
According to Andrés Zuleta, Marketing Specialist CALA of Jabra, a Danish company with 150 years of history manufacturing audio and video technology "in our case, apart from the challenges of fidelity, stability and signal quality, we have focused on two determining factors that are artificial intelligence and the viewing angle that allows the size of the room to be optimized, in addition to the portability of our technology, in order to generate video conferences, literally, from anywhere".
Thanks to these advances, today it is possible to make video conferences outside the large executive rooms through video bars that are often equipped with 3 cameras whose images are combined in real time by powerful processors to obtain a unique, fluid and panoramic image of 180 °, without distortion and with 4K resolution in addition to high definition audio.
Likewise, the technology developed for these applications now allows videoconferencing to be taken everywhere for improvised or last-minute meetings through portable systems that in a small briefcase include everything necessary to transform any space into a meeting place through very simple connectivity and achieve immediate communication.
This innovative technology that will be exposed to the public in Colombia at the TecnoMultimedia fair, which will be held in Corferias between October 20 and 21 in Bogotá, is part of the trends based on artificial intelligence that through powerful processors allow from the most basic task of sharing audio and video, even the most complex ones such as monitoring the capacity of the room, tracking the conversation with a zoom mode that automatically focuses on the speaker, or sharing images from different sources in a single signal.
"These whiteboards that work with the capability of the new cameras have the option to share frames of content at the same time with the images in the room. In this case, the camera's processors are responsible for correcting the perspective so that the slate looks rectangular, while optimizing the light so that the image of those present is of better quality, "says the Jabra expert.
These novelties together with the technological advances in sound and integrated systems for communications will be the protagonists of TecnoMultimedia, a meeting that will bring together more than 30 exhibitors, manufacturers and distributors of the most outstanding brands worldwide in technological solutions of audiovisual systems, which will share space with innovations in digital signage, residential and building technology, unified communications, and data networks. In addition, the different conferences that will be presented on the conjunctural theme of the hybrid model, the video rooms for improved audiovisual experience and all the integrated audiovisual experiences.
