ISE. The ISE 2023 fair will have a new area called Congress Square with an area of 2212 square meters located in the central corridor between Halls 4 and 6 and Halls 5 and 7 that will be full of innovations and networking opportunities.
It will feature diverse industry organizations, bringing together a variety of diverse partners all in one place. It will house the Pavilions of the Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya, as well as the Discovery Zone, the International Media Showcase and the Influencer and Impact Lounges, without forgetting a networking space.
The Impact Lounge will make its debut at ISE 2023 and will offer visitors the opportunity to meet with organizations that make a difference in the industry. These include Women in Live Music (WILM) and ISE's sustainability partners, SAVe and The Circle Society. The lounge will provide a space for visitors to connect with these organizations and learn more about the work they are doing and the difference they are already making.
After a successful debut in 2022, the Influencer Lounge returns in 2023 and will once again welcome content creators, influencers and social media trendsetters who are an active part of the tech community. In that sense, there will be a program of podcasts and events in this space designed for collaboration and exchange.
In the Discovery Zone, another area of Congress Square, visitors will experience the latest innovations from novice exhibitors. Thus, attendees will be able to find the virtual studio software developer Axximetry; manufacturer of AVoIP, HDBaseT and HDMI distribution devices Netvio; electronic accessories manufacturer Vanco; and Flylights, which offers transparent LED screens, among many others.
Congress Square will also host the pavilions organized by Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya, which will host local and regional exhibitors. In the Pavilion of Catalonia there will be 30 local companies active in the AV industry, where business growth opportunities will also be offered and the Open Innovation Challenge will also take place. The ISE Open Innovation Challenge is organized by ACCIÓ (the trade and investment agency of Catalonia) and Enterprise Europe Network. For the second time at ISE, ACCIÓ is working with corporations seeking new technologies and solution partners to help solve specific business problems.
Networking opportunities also abound in the six themed networking areas around the exhibition's Technology Zones. Finally, in the International Media Showcase, visitors will be able to read the latest issues of the specialized press from around the world while taking a well-deserved break.
