Brazil. The Legislative Assembly of the State of Goiás, known as Alego, has installed Christie projection in the amphitheater where various parliamentary activities are held.
ALEGO installed audio, video and broadcast solutions in its main spaces, such as plenaries, auditoriums, session and meeting rooms, a television studio, and the amphitheater.
Precisely in the amphitheater, called Carlos Vieira, with a total area of 1,169 m² and space for 692 seats, Seal Telecom Convergint installed a 1DLP® Christie 4K10-HS laser projector to display 4K UHD content at conferences and other events.
"The installation required a projector with high resolution, high brightness and lenses capable of illuminating a 200-inch projection screen at a distance of about 25 meters," explains Bruno Duarte, project designer and AV-GOV manager at Seal Telecom. "The Christie 4K10-HS perfectly met that set of requirements," he adds.
The Christie 4K10-HS projector, with 4K UHD resolution and 10,000 ANSI lumens, incorporates Christie BoldColor technology for better color reproduction and more realistic images. It allows the transport of 4K@60Hz video with a single HDMI or Display Port cable, which simplifies the installation and laying of cables. It also comes equipped with Christie Twist™ software for warping and blending, and is compatible with Christie Mystique, a camera-based alignment software.
"Its main strengths are high resolution, high brightness and lenses capable of illuminating various screen sizes and distances, depending on the environment," adds Duarte.
The ALEGO amphitheater has already gained national recognition for the technical quality of the equipment and systems used. Duarte highlights the service provided by Christie: "As a partner of Seal Telecom for many years, Christie provides us with all the technical support we need."
