Latin America. CALA Awards, the prestigious event that recognizes excellence in the audiovisual industry, is pleased to announce the 5 finalists selected to compete for the title of "Best AV Project in Latin America 2023". This recognition highlights creativity, innovation in the region.
Among a significant number of participants, the selection process was challenging for the evaluation committee, composed of industry experts. After an exhaustive review of the projects presented, the following finalists have been selected:
Technological Modernization of the Elliptical Hall and 10 Committees of the House of Representatives in charge of Matizzo S.A.S : The project has supply and installation of hardware and development of conference and debate software for the elliptical room: Includes 196 motorized multimedia units composed of 15" and 17" screens, microphones, 50 cm gooseneck, Speech request buttons and facial recognition camera for authentication to the voting system, distribution of audio signals, IP video, 2 Led walls of 136 "and monitors of 65 "return, professional audio system in the enclosure, automation system, wireless presentation system, professional cameras for live transmission of the plenaries and videoconference codec.
Convergint's MIS Ceará modernization project: In the MIS modernization project, Convergint was responsible for offering state-of-the-art technology and new ideas that not only impacted the visitor experience by generating more interactivity, but also improved the management of digital archives and the preservation of the collection, an issue of great importance, especially since it is the cultural heritage of Ceará.
Costanera Experience by TRISON NECSUMU: It is an audiovisual installation located in Santiago de Chile. This innovative digital work of art combines content, interactivity, augmented reality and surround sound in an immersive experience of 19 meters high. It is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Latin America and offers visitors an exciting and unique experience that transports them to another world.
Felipe Angeles International Airport - APOC Nice Alta Visual Communication Technology: The administration and control of the air terminal within the AIFA airport is concentrated within a strategic command and control center called APOC (Air Port Operations Center). The APOC consists of 6 main zones: CCO (Operations Control Center), CSA (Airport Security Center), COE (Emergency Operations Center), SOC/NOC (Security/Network Operations Center), Divisible Meeting Rooms and Reception Desk.
Technological Renovation Institute of the Federal Judiciary of Technology Advisors and Consultants (ACT Group): the implementation in the Institute of the Federal Judiciary (IJF), where we have carried out the technological renovation in the auditorium, with three multipurpose rooms and the lobby, as well as 6 double rooms and 2 single rooms. In the auditorium, the rooms and the lobby, the appropriate integration was carried out so that the audio and video signal could be shared, that is, the content generated in the auditorium could be transmitted in the three rooms and in the lobby.
The finalists will be invited to attend the CALA AWARDS awards ceremony at IntegraTEC Mexico, on August 17, after the PANORAMA PANEL OF THE AV INDUSTRY IN LATAM, which will also be held with the representatives of the five finalist integrator firms of the CALA Awards Best AV Project, in this the panorama of the AV industry in the region will be known, the sectors with the greatest growth projection and technological trends.
In addition to the prestigious recognition, the winner will receive a special award in honor of their outstanding achievement in the audiovisual field.
