Mexico. ConsorcioTec™—a loyalty program for the purchase of technology—, is preparing for its participation in the Mexico edition of IntegraTEC™, which will take place at the World Trade Center in Mexico City from August 16 to 18.
The event brings together professionals and technologies for the integration of three convergent sectors with impact and focus in Latin America: professional audio and video (A/V), systems integration and automation. In addition to being a commercial expo, the fair offers a space conducive to networking and sharing knowledge with different industry experts.
Presence of ConsorcioTec™
In the midst of its diverse programming, IntegraTEC™ offers valuable conferences to address the present and future of a sector in constant evolution.
This is how ConsorcioTec™ will participate with the conference "Advanced professional audio technologies for the implementation of audio systems in architectural projects", by Diego Cárdenas, A/V consultant.
In addition, the purchasing group will have a pavilion open to member integrators, where SMEs members of the group such as Corporate Multimedia, the ACT Group, Tecnomania, Creatio, SyS Integration, and Lohnen will be present.
New executive of ConsorcioTec™
The purchasing group now has a new Project Manager, Víctor Alarcón, who has vast experience in the sector.
"It's very interesting work because it involves a lot of communication and coordination between industry players in electronic, audio and video, and building automation. We are doing something that no one had implemented before in Latin America, because buying groups are a very common practice in the United States, but not in our region. That is why the possibilities are great and there is fertile ground to work shoulder to shoulder with the integrators of these three industries, "said the new executive.
In his new position, Alarcón will be in charge of the business development of the consortium between the affiliated integrators and the "preferred suppliers", as the manufacturing brands that support him are called, to increase the interaction between them and thus increase the allocation of projects and purchases among the actors of ConsorcioTec™ in the different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Benefits to integrators
Among the multiple benefits offered by ConsorcioTec™ to affiliated integrators, the reimbursements and the referred project program stand out. Each time they record purchases, suppliers return a percentage of them. The cuts are quarterly and once approved by the manufacturers, they are consigned directly to the associate's account.
Likewise, through the referral program, ConsorcioTec™ links integrators within countries and between different countries for the execution of projects in the three industries in which it operates. This generates a dynamic of mutual benefits between the affiliated integrators and the suppliers that support the group.
ConsorcioTec™ has to date 86 affiliated integrators throughout Latin America and the Caribbean and according to the latest indicators, its annual purchasing power amounts to US$100 million.
