Latin America. ConsorcioTec, the first and largest consortium of independent integrators in Latin America, announced a marketing partnership with the AV-iQ portal.
The agreement, which will launch during the CEDIA & CIX Expos in Denver 2024, will allow ConsorcioTec members to be listed in the AV-iQ system integrator database directory as a tool to locate qualified low-voltage distributors and contractors in the Caribbean and Latin America, including Brazil.
"We are always looking to create more value for our members at ConsorcioTec," said Victor Alarcón, Project Manager at ConsorcioTec™™. "In addition to our preferred supplier incentive and rebate programs, we want to generate new business opportunities. The AV-iQ platform gives our members greater visibility both in North America and beyond."
Launched in 2021, ConsorcioTec is supported by US-based integrator groups, PSA Security and EDGE (formerly known as USAV) for group buyer best practices, and acts as a bridge to international growth in Latin America. In addition, with the inclusion of APAC's investor group, TSI HUB, managed by Andy Tan in Singapore, the other groups form the IPP (International Partner Program), which allows for truly global coverage.
"We have long believed that AV-iQ can and should be a global resource, and not just a platform that uniquely serves North America. As a great first step, we have partnered with Consortiotec to include all of its members in our Find a Distributor/Integrator localization function," said Mark Loftus, Director of AV-iQ. "Adding these listings for our Caribbean and Latin American users brings us closer to having a resource that caters to visitors from these regions by helping them find local suppliers for the products and solutions they need."
