Colombia. The company Jabra presented at the Andicom fair, which was held in Cartagena, Colombia, its new Video Bar System for videoconferencing that operates on Android. Viviana Guio from Jabra, told AVI Latin America details of this product.
"At the fair we have the joy of presenting our Video Bar System, we launched it just on the first of September. It is a solution that Microsoft has chosen to give that feeling of telepresence in the video conferencing market, by using the Microsoft Room System license in a more proactive way," he said.
He explained that it is a bar that comes with three 13-megapixel lenses, four speakers on an Android operating system, a touch screen that facilitates its administration. It is aimed at medium and small meeting spaces.
"According to Jabra's market studies, offices are transforming and generating smaller collaboration spaces, so we are no longer talking about rooms of 20 people, but everything is accumulating in rooms of 10, 5, 4 people. There we are going to focus with this device, in the rooms of 7 to 10 people, of 4.5 meters and 7.5 meters, "he explained.
At the show, Jabra also presented its line of Speakers 2, with more artificial intelligence and, in general, the entire portfolio of headset with data analytics within the device.
On the Colombian market so far this year, he said that the first semester was slow, but that since July "Colombia has been growing a lot, projects are closing, the stabilization or decline of the dollar has been favoring the purchase of equipment that is finally sold in dollars."
"At this moment we have entered strong banking, we have had great projects in Colombia in that sector. We have projects in education, which has also been growing, in general the corporate sector, "he concluded.
