Founded 42 years ago, the Brazilian real estate company Lucio chose the solutions of the Stem Ecosystem for its new offices in the city of Sao Paulo.

Lucio is a company in the real estate and engineering market in Brazil, which has 2.3 million square meters built and one hundred projects executed during its more than four decades of history. "The projects in which we operate are high-quality buildings, where companies such as Apple, Bloomberg, Facebook, Goldman Sachs and other multinationals are currently located," said Alberto Lucio, head of technology and innovation of the company.
In early 2022, Lucio moved to its new offices in Vila Olimpia, corporate region of the city of Sao Paulo. For this new space it was necessary to find a high-quality solution for their AV systems that was flexible and easy to install. The Stem Ecosystem was the choice selected for Lucio's main meeting room, raising the bar and experience of its video conferences with customers, suppliers and with employees working in other units.
After a visit to the Shure showroom, and the personalized attention of the brand's market development team, those responsible for the technical area were able to test the solutions of the Stem line, ideal for simple and scalable conference rooms. This Ecosystem has the computer tool, Stem Room Design, which allows the designer to simulate the environment where the equipment will be installed. Professionals can design the appropriate room format, and install the equipment, minimizing design errors derived from insufficient or excessive sizing.
Likewise, the Stem Ecosystem also has a tool called Stem Room Adapt that, with the press of a button, activates the system to emit test noises and capture that audio through the microphones. The system then performs an automatic internal adjustment of equalization and delay, which guarantees the highest intelligibility and quality of the ambient sound.
Another novelty for which Lucio selected Stem, is the Stem Room Check function that captures the audio and reverberation of the room, generating a heat map that shows the quality of the audio in the different points of the room. With all these software tools, the Stem Ecosystem offers an agile and complete solution for the client looking for innovation and ease.
From project to implementation
Once all the tests were done, the next step was the installation of the Stem Ecosystem solutions. "For us, the highlight of Stem was the Room Design solution with which the audio adapts to the acoustics of the environment. Another advantage is that the products are connected to the network, which allows the solution to be installed by anyone, without resorting to a professional integrator. In just a few minutes we directly installed two Stem speakers and a Stem Ceiling, combined through a Stem Hub," explained Oswaldo Salvadeo Neto, IT manager at Lucio.
The speakers of this line, called Stem Speaker, provide the option of mounting the device on the ceiling, wall or table for maximum flexibility. Thanks to its powerful transducer, and Shure technology, Stem Speaker delivers exceptional sound in any meeting room.
For its part, Stem Ceiling is an innovative microphone that can be easily mounted on the ceiling of any conference room. It has multiple configurations to choose from and allows you to create the perfect high-quality coverage for each type of meeting room.
The next member of Lucio's main meeting room is Stem Hub, the brains of the entire operation. This solution allows multiple units in the same room to communicate with each other and function as an Ecosystem. It features USB Type B, Ethernet, VoIP and plug-in terminal blocks.
