Argentina. The company Soundtec closed 2023 with significant growth and expansion, hand in hand with the brands it represents in the Argentine market. In conversation with AVI Latin America, Alejandro Arena, the company's Commercial Manager, took stock of the previous year and spoke about expectations for 2024.
"In 2023, we managed to get more and more end users and integrators to adopt the solutions of the brands we represent in Argentina as a standard," he said.
Part of these good results were consolidated with the company's participation in the Caper Show, a fair that took place in November 2023 and they were able to present the latest news from the brands they represent, such as Soundtube, Audinate, Crestron, Atlona, Rockustics, Phase Tech, Solid Drive and Soundsphere.
When asked about the expectations for 2024 in his country's market, he commented that, in recent years, Argentina has suffered from policies of restriction for imports and acquisition of foreign currency, which meant that all importing companies had to work much harder to achieve the same result.
"This not only complicates work in companies, but also drives up costs. We hope that the new government that has just taken office, which has already shown some signs of improvement, will focus on these situations and continue to support the market so that the import process can be simplified, which will allow us to offer more and better variety to our customers," he said.
Finally, Alejandro Arena reiterated that "At Soundtec we always take care of providing our customers with a product that is different from the market standard, so that they can differentiate themselves from the rest and obtain additional features that are often unexpected. In this sense, we are also working on incorporating some new products and new brands in order to continue expanding the portfolio we currently have. And, along these lines, we also expect 2024 to be a year that maintains the trend of expansion and growth of recent years."
