Madame Tussauds' theatre in London boasts an immersive listening experience thanks to Meyer Sound's Cinema Experience 7.1 system, which combined with Threshold Animation Studios' 3D animation, allows audiences to experience a 4D film, i.e. as if they were living it inside the big screen.According to Joshua Wexler, president of Threshold Animation, "the sound experience improves significantly alongside all of our 3D visual imagery and leads the audience to scream, laugh, jump and crouch at the right times." This is possible thanks to a configuration compatible with a 91 Dolby format, composed of seven speakers for Acheron front channels, two 700HP subwoofers and a Galileo system with two Galileo 408 processors for speaker control.
Meyer Sound's Cinema Experience system is also installed at Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope Studios, Skywalker Sound, ImageMovers Digital, the University of California School of Cinematic Arts, among others.
