Chile. The close relationship that the companies Epson and SAV Apoyo Audiovisual have had during the last three years, allowed them to reach an agreement through which the latter will be the wholesale distributor of the projector manufacturer for Chile.
Hernán Godoy, commercial manager of SAV, explained that as part of the agreement, Epson will provide technical service 24 hours a day. For this, the two companies are working hand in hand: SAV formed an internal technical service group and Epson is certifying two of its members. But in parallel will be the two companies with this service, which is essential for rental companies that must have technical support any day of the week at any time.
Another factor that influenced this agreement is that the projector market in general is growing year by year. High-brightness projectors are a new market for Epson and are becoming known in Latin America, with good market acceptance.
According to the manufacturer's data, it is estimated that between 7 and 15% of the projector market in the region will grow by 2015, supported by the increase in events that seek visual impact to reach the public and rental companies.
The director of Epson for Latin America, Juan Campos, said that "we have been working together for three years and this alliance has been strengthening more and more. They have helped us expand our products to new places. The issue of service is very important because of the conditions in which the equipment is installed and in which they have to work."
Hernán Godoy added that "we in our rental area have found an efficient solution in Epson, a company that cares about extending the life of projectors by doing constant maintenance. In addition, we have found a human talent that cares about serving us in our needs that should always be immediate, that is our professional deformation".
Today SAV officially represents five brands: Epson, Bose, Trident, Watchout and soon TV One. All companies with which they work in their facilities and events. In addition, they complement the work by doing training on the products of these brands, seeking to overcome the informality of the market.
