Argentina. Christie announced that it has appointed the company Full Dimensional Entertainment as the new distributor in Argentina of its film solutions. Based in Buenos Aires, Full Dimensional Entertainment is a multifaceted company that has been providing services and products for the exhibition business for more than 20 years, having participated in the installation of film equipment in some of the most important theaters in South America.
"We are very happy to be able to start offering Christie products to our customers, which will provide us with greater penetration in chains and exhibitors looking for the best solution in film equipment," says Adrián Ortiz, director of Full Dimensional.
Edgar Navarro, Christie's Film Account Manager in Latin America, says: "Full Dimensional has a team that is recognized throughout Argentina and South America, led by two great professionals in the world of cinema such as Sergio Neuspiller and Adrián Ortiz. They will bring to our brand all their prestige and seriousness, as well as the know-how we need to keep Christie growing in the region."
For his part, Juan Carlos Chávez, director of Christie in Latin America, points out: "The knowledge that Full Dimensional has of our products and its direct treatment with the large cinema chains in South America will allow us to create a climate of trust and credibility in customers. It will also help convey to exhibitors that we not only offer a product, but also the support, support and service they seek at all times for their movie theaters."
Despite the fact that the digitalization process in the region is in an advanced state, there are still enormous business possibilities in the exhibition sector. "There are some territories where the conversion to digital has not yet materialized one hundred percent, and there are also several projects to open new rooms," says Adrián Ortiz. "But there are also many cinemas interested in Christie Vive Audio sound technology, which is an excellent product with a lot of potential in the market," he adds.
In its first operations as a Christie distributor, Full Dimensional has recently installed Christie Solaria projectors in the Coto Lanús and Coto Olivos complexes, as well as in the Village Cinemas chain, all of them in Argentina.
