Latin America. As part of the activities aimed at AV professionals in Latin America for 2015, InfoComm International invites you to participate in its next virtual seminar in Spanish on the fundamentals of distributed sound.
Among the topics that will be developed in this virtual seminar are:
- Discuss the trade-offs and benefits of discrete channels, constant voltage, and local amplification.
- Determine the amplification needed to achieve a target sound pressure (SPL) level.
- Calculate the impedance and power distribution within various speaker arrays.
- Specify the cabling topology and configuration for each type of amplification.
- Define the procedures necessary to validate and calibrate a distributed audio system.
- Determine the amplification, cooling/ventilation, sizes and types of cables required, and calculate the routes normally used.
In charge will be Camilo Madrigal, director of sales of professional audio and facilities for all America of Tropical Music Export Enterprises Inc. Camilo is a Sound Engineer, with experience in sales and market development in Latin America for brands in the audiovisual sector and configuration of installation projects. For more than 15 years he has worked in production, recording, audio post production, music, sound design, Foley and editing.
