Meet the new projectors for large spaces

Gabriel GoncalvesLatin America. Epson presented its advanced Pro G7000 Series projectors for large spaces. With new features, including increased brightness and motorized lenses, the G7000 Pro Series projectors offer uncompromising image quality, low total cost of both equipment and replacement lamps.

Made up of eight models with up to 8,000 lumens of color luminosity and 8,000 lumens of white luminosity, this series also includes the first ultra-short lens in the world with zero offset and a projection ratio of 0.35, being ideal for places with limited space and digital signage applications. The Pro G projectors will be on display at the Epson booth (#1 - H90) at the ISE 2016 exhibition to be held in Amsterdam from 9 to 12 February.

"The new G7000 Series Pro projectors go beyond the limits by offering greater brightness, 4K enhancement resolution, new motorized lenses and advanced technology to captivate any audience, showing our commitment to providing a wide variety of solutions to the projector market for large spaces."

Ideal for large spaces, including large events, auditoriums and museums, the Pro G Series projectors offer incredible image quality and triple the color brightness compared to competing 1-chip DLP models, ensuring colorful and bright images. Here are some of the features that include:

Nine optional interchangeable lenses: the greater installation flexibility allows users to select the motorized lens that best suits the environment; the set includes an ultra-short-throw lens, two short-throw lenses, one wide-throw lens, four medium-throw lenses and one long-throw lens; lens change is quick and easy.

Versatile Connectivity: Support a wide variety of inputs, including HDBaseT, SDI, HDMI®, DVI-D, VGA, and 5-BNC for easy integration with any system.

Ready for Integration: they are compatible with Crestron, AMX, Extron and Control protocols for simple and simple integration to existing systems; some models are also compatible with Art-Net DMX.

Emulation: Emulate control codes from other industry-leading projector brands for easy upgrade to Epson projectors without the need to reprogram existing control systems.

4K enhancement technology: A revolutionary technology that supports 4K signal and enhances the 1080p experience for movies.

Dynamic Projection Capabilities: The advanced Edge-Blending function and the technologies of image distortion correction and curved surfaces give rise to a variety of applications.

Collaboration functions: with the screen split function, two different sources can be projected in parallel; Epson Moderator software allows up to 50 Windows®, Mac®, iOS® or Android™ devices to be connected to the network and up to four devices can share content on the same screen simultaneously.

Professional Installation Features: 360-degree installation flexibility and portrait mode (90 degrees) enable a wide variety of applications, including simulators, mapping, digital signage, and command center.

In Latin America, the PRO G7000 Series projectors will be launched in June of this year.
