Mexico. Comstor announced Power Education together with Cisco, the most important strategy in comprehensive Cisco technology solutions for the Technological Institutes of Mexico.
"Engineers are responsible for creating solutions that address the problems of today's society. The demand for engineers worldwide is forecast to increase by 11% in the next 10 years," says Alejandra Montufar, Business Delevopmet Manager of Comstor's Public Sector. "In Mexico, the technological institutes of the SEP are integrated into the so-called Tecnológico Nacional de México, from which 40% of the engineers throughout the country graduate."
Cisco and Comstor detected that the Technological Institutes do not have the necessary basic tools to face the world of work, so they consider NET Academy (the Cisco Academy) fundamental, in order to support both teachers and students with solutions that allow them to update and stand out in the professional field.

Comstor's various solutions are easy to implement, learn, and get the most out of. "Many institutes do not have, sometimes, even the basics, such as the Internet. We want to provide them with everything they need so that more than 300,000 students benefit. With this type of education, the student can earn twice a standard salary in the labor market," Montufar concluded.
It is the first time that Comstor approaches directly to Technological Institutes, currently has 14 Partners fully trained to offer each of the 250 institutes of the National Technological of Mexico, starting with those of Mexico City and metropolitan area, Querétaro, Hidalgo and Puebla.
