Epson unveiled its first 25,000-lumen laser projector

InfoComm. In Las Vegas Epson presented what it has called the jewel in the crown, its first 3LCD laser projector of 25 thousand lumens, motorized lenses, 4K. It is a compact equipment that despite its size and its 65 kilos of weight, is inferior to others of its type.

"It is a very attractive solution for rental companies and we are focused on offering this type of high-brightness solutions to this market. It will have 6 lenses available for short, ultra short, medium and long draft, to meet all the solutions that exist, wide connectivity and guarantee of 20 thousand hours, "said Erik Martínez, Projector Product Manager of Epson Latin America.

In addition, this projector brings the sealed optical drive, which makes this part maintenance-free. It has inorganic 3LCD panels, which ensures that there is no degradation of the panels over time by the effect of light and the uniformity of the white is maintained.

Another of the technologies presented at the fair by Epson, was the ultra short throw lens, in which the projection begins where the lens is. It is the first solution on the market with this feature.

Juan Campos, director for Latin America at Epson, commented that in March the company made organizational changes to give greater impetus to projectors of more than 6 thousand lumens, taking advantage of its new products. This is how he has increased his team with Leopoldo Parra, who will serve the northern market, between Mexico, Central America, Colombia and Ecuador. The south of the continent is in charge of Gabriel Gonçalves.

In addition, each country has its local manager in charge of market strategies. In total there are 15 local directors in Latin America focused on corporate and volume projectors.
