Latin America. Bose Professional has unveiled a preview of its new ShowMatchTM DeltaQTM speaker array system. DeltaQ technology has achieved a breakthrough in the design of linear array speakers by providing the ability to adjust both the sound dispersion or "Q", of each of the loudspeakers, to the different conditions of different enclosures, as well as the level of sound pressure according to the distance between the system and the audience.
The ShowMatch speaker array system offers the most versatile DeltaQ design, optimized for both fixed and portable installations, with a combination of very compact loudspeakers and interchangeable sound wave dispersion guides in each of them.
ShowMatch full-range speakers feature four new extended high-frequency compression units with two high-performance 8-inch neodymium woofers. The boxes will be available with different vertical dispersion options: 5, 10 or 20 degrees. The integrated mounting system is designed to support up to 24 suspended modules and features a complete line of installation accessories and devices to make horizontal dispersion more accurate: 70, 100, 120 degrees or asymmetrical horizontal at 55 degrees.
Additionally, an 18-inch subwoofer with the same width as the rest of the boxes will be offered, which will facilitate its installation, either hung with the same arrangement or installed to the floor.
The versatility in the design of the ShowMatch arrangement will ensure the best possible sound quality for a variety of applications and configurations ranging from small clubs, religious temples or corporate events to large performance centers or auditoriums.
The ShowMatch DeltaQ speaker array system will be available to Bose dealers starting in October 2016. Presentations and demonstrations will begin in August of this year.
