Latin America. AudioTechnica identified that there is a big leap between conventional discussion systems, such as wincheck and console, to professional discussion systems. Therefore, I developed a product that was in a medium range between the two, the ATUC 50 system.
Juan Tamayo, sales engineer for Latin America at AudioTechnica, told AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that "all the microphony of this system is based on a UTP cable, which reduces installation costs. It works with a very simple and intuitive software to operate through a web browser, without the need to download an application and with digital clarity throughout the system."
He added that these features mean that each member on the panel discussion can have 20/20 sound quality. It is a very economical system compared to a conventional system and is practically plug and play.
"This product has been so well received by the market, that we practically have all of this year's production sold and it just begins to be shipped in October," he said.
Juan Tamayo also stressed that AudioTechnica will have an important participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, since it will provide all the microphones for the television network. There are around 6 thousand microphones, with technologies of a capsule or stereo, techniques that are linked to the new trends in digital television.
