Tripp Lite expands its range of cables and connectors

Latin America. Tripp Lite announced the expansion of its renowned cable and connector lines and incorporated two new ones. With this announcement, the manufacturer reaffirms its leadership as the most comprehensive source of IT infrastructure products and connectivity solutions on the market.

No matter what the application, Tripp Lite has a connectivity solution for every need with which it manages to meet the full spectrum of possible requirements of audio and video, digital signage, networking, power, storage and connection for computers, chargers and adapters, connection panels and Keystone modules, and more.

In addition to expanding its existing line offering, the company incorporated cassettes for connecting copper and fiber cables for high-density installations (supporting equipment of different speeds and generations) and medical grade power cables.

Among others, this expansion includes the  following new features:

  • Fiber and copper cables  for connecting servers, switches, hubs, routers of various categories, and other network equipment (Cat3, Cat5, Cat6, Cat6/6a, Cat6a, CX4, multimode, and SFP+/QSFP+, for example).
  • Audio/video cables and other connectors (adapters, extenders, splitters, signal converters, couplers and more) for displays and digital signage systems of  different types and technologies (HDMI, HDBaseT, DisplayPort, DVI, S-Video, stereo audio, coaxial, component, composite and VGA, among others).
  • Power and data transfer cables to power devices with  male and female terminations (types A/B/C, M 5V DC or N 5V DC, mini, micro, standard, 3.0, reversible and even lightning).
  • For fast exchange and easy communication,  it added cables with terminations for mice, keyboards, printers, landlines, faxes, serials, parallels and internal bands (PS/2, Mini-DIN6 M/F, AT Serial Modem Gold, Fax/Modem Flat Silver Patch, Null Modem Serial DB9 Serial, SCSI and SAS, SATA and ATA internal and external).
  • It also added compact hubs with USB port extensions and various USB charging solutions, including portable and car chargers.

The new  incorporated lines add up:
A series of cassettes for cables, both copper and fiber at the same time, that allows the user to interconnect, in a simple, elegant and flexible way, network equipment of different speeds and generations (10/40/100/120GB) in high-density cabinets for telecommunications applications and data centers. Cassettes allow a large number of connections in small spaces.

A line of medical grade electric current power cables. They are specifically designed to provide secure connections for medical equipment, computers and peripherals used in patient care areas and other hospital settings .

They come in different lengths (from 90 centimeters), with pins for grounding and models with transparent plugs so that users can monitor the status (integrity) of the cables and their connections at any time.

"Our connectivity solutions are part of our business strategy to deliver secure, integrated, flexible and user-friendly products that contribute to improving  energy efficiency in network spaces and data centers," said Sam Atassi, Vice President of Sales for Tripp Lite Latin America and the Caribbean.
