Latin America. Version 1.3 of its Plus Channels app for IOS was introduced by Shure, including new features such as monitoring, organizing, and accessing channel parameters with convenience and controllability.
The update was intended to improve the mobile environment for audio professionals, offering accurate, real-time monitoring of selected Shure wireless systems from an iOS device.
Version 1.3 of the application supports the Axient wireless management network, the UHF-R wireless system, the ULX-D digital wireless system, the QLX-D digital wireless system, and the PSM1000 personal monitoring system.
The new display design via a main menu includes RF/Audio meters and information from active multi-channel transmitters in a single display. Additionally, Shure incorporated Access Control, a feature that allows audio engineers to password-protect access to compatible devices, allowing them to better control who can modify device settings and properties.
Access Control prevents device settings from being modified by unauthorized users and forces them to authenticate when they want to access protected devices. Version 1.3 also incorporates the possibility of categorizing the channels by groups of colors, which can then be classified and organized according to the preferences of the users.
ShurePlus Channels version 1.3 can be downloaded from the Apple App store.
