International. A programmable control solution for control and automation applications based on IP technology, called Barionet 1000, was presented by the company Barix at the last edition of ISE 2017.
Elías Deccaret, IT product Manager of Barix, explained to AVI LATINOAMÉRICA that this solution "when working with the Linux operating system, which is open source, anyone can use the libraries that are on the market to install them on the device and on those libraries the applications are installed. It can be used for both the commercial and residential sectors."
In home automation, for example, with the new Barix solution and a tablet you can control the whole house, such as lighting, windows, ventilation, blinds, audio and even television, in some cases.
The Barionet 1000 is the first Barionet device to integrate wireless capability and USB port for future connectivity needs in control and automation.
Although the Barionet 50 and 100 devices are still available to those who prefer the multiple firmware solutions available for these products, the Barionet 1000 offers a new level of freedom for programmers.
