Latin America. InfoComm International, an association of the AV industry with more than 5,000 members in the world, will soon present the program called The Day of the InfoComm Academy, a training event in which attendees in addition to acquiring knowledge will have great networking opportunities.The first of these days will be held on Wednesday, March 3 at the Sheraton Bogotá Hotel and the seminars will be taught by experts from the sound industry, control and design of AV systems.
This group will be formed by Carlos Otero Gutiérrez, from Crestron, who will share the theme of lighting control; Juan Fernando Montoya, from Bosch, will have a conference on how digital technology helps solve some old problems in audio, and Nelson Baumgratz, from EAV Engenharia Audiovisual, will participate with the theme lighting with LEDs
At the end of the academic day there will be a round table with the guests of the regional companies in which issues of importance of the AV industry, the actions carried out the previous year and the action plans that will be implemented in the future will be discussed.
The cost is US$25 for InfoComm members plus 25 EduBucks and for non-members US$75. The registration form can be requested at [email protected]. The schedule of this day is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the seminars and the round table from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
