With this training participants will gain theoretical and operational knowledge about source-independent measurement, as well as a solid foundation of SIM analysis in the design of complex audio systems.
The seminar will also provide a brief review of SIM theory and systems development, followed by a sharing of the use of field procedures for the SIM 3 audio analyzer. Attendees will study the complex interactions of speakers in a variety of acoustic configurations and environments from the points of view of phase, frequency, and impulse response.
The training sessions that will be held from March 1 to 5 and from August 30 to September 3, will be taught in Spanish by Óscar Barrientos, and from April 27 to 30, by Bob McCarthy, in English, with translation available in Spanish.
